It's the Little Pains

I'm always worried about having some spectacularly, clumsy accident that will plop me on the couch for a week. So, why is it when I do almost nothing at all I have the most pain?

Yesterday, I took care of the dog's breakfast. As I was walking down the hall, I felt a little pull in my left ankle. I didn't even trip or slip.

That little hitch hurt me all day. I couldn't stand and each time I took a step it zapped me. My foot was sore all night long. It did feel better this morning so at least it wasn't a sprain.

It always surprises me that I can trip and fall on my face without any repercussions. But, lift my foot the wrong way, turn it a tad in midstep, and I'm out the rest of the day. Is it the same for you?
